So this was apparently a soundtrack to a documentary that Dave Grohl made, this is the Sound City Players, a supergroup of sorts, I think. I was about to mow grass at lunch time and remembered I had scanned this album’s track listing and some of the credits. I remember seeing it was a Dave Grohl, Corey Taylor, and Trent Reznor and thinking this would be a heavier album for some reason. I should have also remembered Stevie Nicks, Rick Springfield, and Paul McCartney.
I am going to hold off on writing thoughts about the music. This album was part of a project that included the Sound City documentary. I want to watch the documentary with this one to get the full experience.
